What to do next, if you hate your new Permanent Makeup procedure.
Q: What do you do when you absolutely hate your Permanent Makeup Brows?
For new brows, Be Patient! Permanent Makeup brow procedures take minimum 2 weeks to heal. The brows will go through various transformation within the next 14 days. The first week of healing, pigment will temporarily appear bigger and darker. Within a week's time, they will dry and form a crusty scab. Once the scab peels, the pigment should look lighter and smaller.
If the shape is not ideal, most brow shape can be modified. They may not be perfect, but there's always room for improvement. Find a Permanent Makeup Artist that specialize in correction procedures.
If the color needs to be altered, that too can be modified. They can be lightened or darkened by a Permanent Makeup Correction Specialist.
After the tattoo has healed, topical makeup such as eyeshadow or brow pencil can be used to alter or enhance the shape and color.
Keep in mind, we want our eyes to be the focal point, not our brows. When the brow shape and color is ideal, your eyes should stand out. Try to stay conservative and classic in brow style. Do not follow trends. Fashion magazines are trying to WOW you. They are going bold to emphasize their products. Trends come and go, but your permanent makeup may linger longer.
