Is Permanent Makeup a good choice for me?
If so, should I start with Brows, Eyeliner or Lip Blushing?

Permanent makeup (PMU) is relatively an inexpensive, non evasive cosmetic procedure that can restore color and definition to your face. If you are unsure which procedure is best for you, here are some common thoughts to consider. Which thoughts run through your head in the morning? Brows: I feel uncomfortable leaving the house or be seen in public without drawing in my brows. I don't know how to draw in brows, so it's very frustrating. I can draw in my Right brow, but have trouble filling in my Left brow. Eyes: My eyes feel small or invisible unless I have some eyeliner on. My waterproof eyeliner still smudges on a hot day or when I exercise. My hands are not steady therefore it is difficult for me to draw on liners. Lips: I used to have full lips, but now they are thin and non existant. I look sick or pale without lipstick. I apply lipstick several times a day. I can't use lipstick because I no longer have lips. I over draw my lip liner to make my lips look ful

I'm not tired, but I alway look tired. Can permanent makeup, microblading, make me look refreshed?

ABSOLUTELY!!! In our 20s: eyebrows are bushy; eyes are clustered with long, dark lashes; and our lips are plump and pink. We use bold makeup because it is fun, colorful, and ornamental. In our 30s: still holding onto our youth. Maybe some under eye concealer to brighten the eyes and a quick lip gloss application to add color to our face before leaving the house. In our 40s: we notice that our eyebrow hairs are finer and sparse; eyelashes lighten in color; and lips lose volume and color. In our 50s: our eyes are more sunken and fine lines develop around our eyes and lips. Don't dispare!!! Age with grace... Looking younger and refreshed is achievable at any age. Focus on the Three key features: 1. Brows 2. Eyes 3. Lips Keep it simple. "The eyes are the window to your soul" — William Shakespeare. and lips exudes sex appeal. Applying makeup can enhance and brighten our face. However, the key is... Less is more as we age. Applying makeup so th

Mobile Permanent Makeup Artist or Home Visits

Can a permanent makeup artist come to your home to provide services?   I have a client who used to call a permanent makeup artist that made house visits.  The procedure was completed on her reclining chair in the living room.  The set up was quick and afterwards, the Permanent Makeup artist would pack up and leave. In the state of California this is illegal, NOT ALLOWED.  Permanent Makeup Artists' offices are regulated by the County Health Services.  We are required to act in accordance with OSHA guidelines and our office is annually inspected by the Health Department.  Our office has specific requirements and guidelines.  The objective is to minimize or eliminate cross contamination of blood borne pathogens.  It is illegal to conduct business outside our office in the state of California. Microblading and Permanent Makeup. Are they the same?

Is Microblading same as Permanent Makeup? Think of Permanent Makeup as the Big Umbrella. Under the big umbrella, there are three Permanent Makeup tools/modalities: 1. Rotary (tattoo machine for the face, less thrust power than the machines used on the body 2. SofTap 3. Microblade Microblading is a specific tool/modality. However, the internet interchanges the word "Permanent Makeup" and "Microblading". The tool Microblade is used for the brows only. A Microblade should not be used for Permanent Eyeliner and Lip Blushing. The Rotary and SofTap tools are used for the eyeliner and lip services. Permanent Makeup (PMU) Should I use my own numbing cream prior to my tattoo appointment.

Permanent Makeup, Cosmetic Tattoo, Microblading. Does it help to use my own numbing cream at home, prior to showing up to my Permanent Makeup appointment? The answer is a definite NO. Most over the counter numbing creams are effective for 2 hours or less. Additional use of the cream will not prolong the numbing effect. In fact, the procedure may be overall more painful in the end. Pros and Cons to Permanent Makeup, Microblading.

Considering Permanent Makeup, but uncertain of the Pros and Cons. Here's a short list of the Benefits and Concerns. Pros: 1. When applied correctly, Permanent Makeup (PMU) looks natural. It should be subtle and add definition to your fading features. 2. PMU does not smudge or wash off with water or sweat. Great for outdoor activities or work outs. 3. Ideal for individuals who are sensitive or allergic to traditional makeup products. 4. Convenience, wake up looking more defined. Less time putting on makeup in the morning. 5. Youthful, defining eyes and lips with a little color can make you look younger. Cons: 1. Cost: Permanent Makeup (PMU) is not permanent. Over time, the color fades and needs to be "refreshed". Brows last about a 12 to 15 months, Eyeliner and Lips should last longer. 2. Research: Do your homework, thouroughly. This is your face.
