Thin and grey eyebrows with age

  Eyebrows Change With Age (What to do!) Aging has a funny way of keeping both men and women humble. Just when our eyebrows start thinning out, fading in color, and sprouting stubborn gray hairs that seem to have a mind of their own, we may also notice new hairs appearing on the chin or upper lip. Unfortunately, those eager little hairs do not volunteer to move up to the brows! As we get older, eyebrow hairs naturally become finer, fewer, lighter, and often grayer. Those gray brow hairs can also be coarser, which is why they sometimes stick up like tiny wires. If that happens, resist the urge to pluck them out. Gray hair is still hair, and hair is better than no hair. A simple trim is usually the better choice, helping the brows look neater without sacrificing fullness. For some people, especially those who have experienced alopecia or cancer treatments , eyebrows may never fully return to their original density or shape.
