Lip blushing is a permanent makeup technique where pigment is deposited into the lips by a trained professional tattoo artist. We first line the vermillion border with pigment to outline the lip shape, then shade the pigment into the rest of the lips to blend the colors together. This helps define the lip shape and adds a soft, natural tint.

The result? A subtle but impactful boost in color to your lips that lasts for a year or longer. Permanent makeup goal is to appear like Lip Gloss, not Lip Stick.

  • Tinted Lip Oil- Hydrates lips, adds shine, and enhances natural color with a glossy finish. e.l.f Glow Reviver Lip Oil, or Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Oil.  Apply on bare lips or over any lip stick for a high gloss, dewey finish.
  • Lip Tint provides a natural-looking tint of color that's lightweight. It is liquid applied with wand. No shine finish. Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Island Glow Lip and Cheek, or Dior Addict Lip Tint Tap a small amount onto lips with your fingertip for a sheer, natural finish. Layer for deeper color.
  • Lip Liners shapes and defines lips, prevents lipstick from bleeding, can be used alone for a matte look. e.l.f.     Q: Can I camouflage a scar, area of the skin that's missing pigment, or previous permanent makeup by using skin colored tattoo pigment? Clients with Vitiligo and scar tissues on their body/face request camouflage tattooing to match their natural skin color.  There's always Pros and Cons. Pro:  Tattooing skin colored pigment can conceal or make the area with loss of pigment less noticeable.  There are a lot of vendors with various colors, so you may find a color to match your skin tone.   Con : Your skin may darken or lighten depending on the time of the year, i.e. sun tan. It may be subtle, but your skin varies in darkness/lightness throughout the year.  However,  the Camouflage pigment will remain the same.  It will not tan with you.  Therefore, if the scar/loss of pigmented area is on your body that gets exposed to sun light,  this may not be a good solution for you.
